H.E Shehab Ahmed Al Fahim, UAE Ambassador to Japan, stressed during his visit to the housing of athletes participating in the Olympic Games Tokyo that their efforts for the UAE is the greatest evidence of their keenness to represent the nation in the desired image, expressing their loyalty to the UAE and their pride in its history, culture and unique gains.
Al Fahim expressed his confidence that this year will witness the success of the two crucial events; the Olympic Games Tokyo and the Expo Dubai, which is hosted by Dubai for the first time in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia under the slogan "Connecting Minds and Creating the Future. "Such events makes everyone feels proud and happy because it reflects the sincere and honorable state that everyone feels when they see the flag of their country flying high before the entire world." Al Fahim stated.
Al-Fahim added that the Olympic Games Tokyo and Expo Dubai have the same spirit in terms of the desire, determination and devotion in implementing the events despite the exceptional circumstances that led to their postponement to this year. Olympic Games Tokyo started with a wonderful opening ceremony and a unique organization with full commitment to the precautionary measures to proceed to consolidating the concepts of success and the challenge, which bodes well for presenting a successful and distinguished version of the Expo in the UAE when it is launched in Dubai next October.
