In Coincidence with the Olympic Day Celebrations,
Burj Khalifa Lit Up with the International Olympic Committee's Logo
Burj Khalifa in Dubai was lit up with the International Olympic Committee logo and the colors of its five rings, in coincidence with the celebration of the Olympic Day under the slogan "Let's Move" worldwide on the occasion the International Olympic Committee's foundation on 23 June 1894.
The National Olympic Committee celebrated a set of initiatives for the Olympic Day event through different events and activities, with the participation of many athletes and all community categories, in addition to carrying out activities as part of the thirteenth edition of "Dubai Sports World" events being held for more than 3 months in Zabeel halls, Dubai World Trade Center until next September 10.
The Federal Youth Authority, in cooperation with the National Olympic Committee, organized the youth circle dubbed “Empowering Youth in the Sports Field”, in coincidence with the Olympic Day, raising awareness and furthering inspiration among young people. The concept of the Olympic Games was comprehensively clarified and explained, highlighting its importance to young people, and encouraging them to participate in various sports.
