Ivan competes in judo under 100kg today at the Tokyo Olympics



Tomorrow, Thursday morning, Ivan Romanko, the our national judo team player, competes in the under 100 kg competition against his Canadian counterpart Shadi Al-Nahhas in the round No.32 in Judo tournament of the 32nd Summer Olympic Games hosted at the Japanese capital, Tokyo, during the period (from 23rd July to 8th August), with the participation of 11839 athletes competing in 33 sports with 339 competitions in 48 sports facilities.


The participation of our sports delegation in 4 sports at Tokyo Olympics witnessed the exit of our national team’s shooter, Saif Bin Futais, who ranked 24th place in the skeet competition with 117 points, and Victor Skritov, our national judo team player, exited from the round No.32 for weight under 73 kg, and Yousuf Al Matrooshi, who ranked 50th in the 100-meter freestyle swim, at a time of 51:50 seconds. Finally, our national team runner, Mohammed Hassan Al Noobi, concludes our participation in the Olympic forum after tomorrow, Saturday, with the 100-meter race.
