The UAE National Olympic Committee participated in a coordinative meeting held by the Organising Committee of the 3rd GCC Games, which will be hosted by Kuwait (11-31 May 2022).
Engineer Azza bint Sulaiman, Assistant Secretary-General for Administrative and Financial Affairs, represented the NOC in the meeting, which was attended by all representatives of the GCC NOCs.
Attendees reviewed the schedule of the Games, which includes 16 individual and team events, training and competition programmes, stadia and sports halls hosting the event, time of the opening ceremony, the deadline for registering delegations by names, entry process, and verification of vaccination cards for all participants. Topics discussed also included the arrival and departure dates of sports delegations, accommodations, mobility, anti-doping, and the date of the futsal draw.
