The launch of the first workshop for the Executive Director Course Program for Sports Federations


Today, Sunday, at the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee in Dubai, the first workshop of the National Olympic Academy sessions for the Executive Director of Sports Federations, Organizations and Societies was launched, according to the Guide to Governance of Sports Federations launched by the Committee and the General Sports Authority and was recently announced.


During the workshop, Noura Al Jasmi, Board Member of Al Nasr Investment Company, Member of the Bicycle for All Committee and the Women’s Committee, Chairman of the Women’s and Marketing Committee in the Asian Cycling Federation and Director of Marketing at the Al Shafar Team Jumeirah, in the presence of Mohammed bin Darwish, Acting Director of the National Olympic Academy, where she discussed the strategy axis within 9 Themes included in the Executive Director's Program in Sports Federations are strategy, quality, leadership, sports management, investment and sports marketing, legislation and laws, human capital, organizing sports events, and doping.


Noura Al Jasmi discussed the strategic map of the sports federations, which is in line with the strategic plan of the General Sports Authority, which in turn corresponds to the UAE Vision 2071, where the strategic objectives of the sports federations include adopting innovation and foreseeing the future as a strategic priority in order to keep pace with the developments witnessed by the country in light of the results of the analysis of the federation’s environment internally and externally, and to achieve The vision and mission of the federation within the scope of the axes that have been reached, where the strategic objectives of the strategic plan of the General Sports Authority were identified to be linked to the federation's strategic objectives, including the development of the sports sector to achieve achievements and championships, and the promotion of community sports culture. It was also concluded that the main strategic objectives of the federation are to train and qualify a team of talented Emirati athletes to achieve continental and international achievements, advance women's sports, spread the culture of sports in society and create a stimulating environment for it.
